Unsurprisingly Blizzard’s StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has stormed the UK chart, blowing past the competition to number 1 - it’s a PC game.
Yep that’s right the PC too has claimed the prize of its first title atop the UK chart for 2010. StarCraft 2 has dwarfed the original’s lifetime sales.
It just goes to show that when you know the formula to get mouse fingers twitching with excitement, the consumer wallets will open. Toy Story 3 is nudged to 2nd place with Red Dead Redemption still selling Rockstar-brand snake oil at 3rd.
