It’s not a direct sequel to events in Bethesda’s Fallout 3, and is due out this year. We’re told to keep our ”eyes peeled” for new info today.
”Keep your eyes peeled for new stuff on #FalloutNewVegas tomorrow!” twittered Bethesda yesterday, reports Gamespot. This is certainly better Fallout news that all the legal showdown between Interplay and Bethesda over box art packaging.
Interplay is of course developing still the Fallout MMO, otherwise known as ‘Project V13’. Obsidian has Fallout veterans amongst them as Black Isle dealt with the first two games in the franchise.
Recent titles from Obsidian Entertainment include Star Wars The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights II, both being sequels to BioWare’s efforts. An upcoming project from Obsidian is Alpha Protocol, a modern day spy action-RPG.
