In a recent Ustream episode, Ice-T himself blabbed online that he ‘was involved’ with Gears of War 3, quickly adding: ”I didn’t just say that.” Hmmm.
”Put Ice-T on the box, that’s a million sales right there,” the man himself joked to Bleszinski in April 2009, reports Kotaku. ”I would really love to be in it. It would be a little more starpower.” Bleszinski was keen to reply to Ice-T.
”If there is a Gears 3, which you never know, I have a feeling there will be a part for you,” the Cliffster said. ”I would love to do that man, we need to talk,” added Ice-T. The rapper has turned actor, in fact he stars in a Law & Order spin-off - make of that what you will.
Would Ice-T bring some starpower to Gears of War 3? Arguably it’s Marcus who’s the only true star of the GOW universe… does he need celebrity backup? Gears of War 3 releases exclusively on Xbox 360 next year.
