It would be the same ”guided” FPS but in ”full HD.” Planet Cracker meanwhile is all new, and a ”resource strategy game” for Dead Space 2.
The ”interactive horror experience” that is Extraction would come in at around $15 as a tentative price point, according to Kotaku. It would be the same on-rails journey but all amped up visually. It’s one of two possible pre-order goodies.
Planet Cracker is a ”resource strategy game where players will manage a CEC Mining operation,” where players aim to ”maximize their daily profit” and ”defending their hard-won ore from Space Pirates.” Damn pirates get everywhere.
It’s designed to help fans build up some extra cash to spend in Dead Space 2, much like Fable II had Pub Games from Lionhead Studios. All this information comes from an EA survey and so remains only as rumour for now.
These two could form a pre-order incentive for Dead Space 2. What do you think?
