Local co-op will exist but only for combat training and split-screen multiplayer. The studio is still yet to unveil the full extent of Black Ops co-op.
“There’s no campaign co-op this year,” said executive producer Dan Suarez. Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DC and PC November 10th. This is hope though as Treyarch haven't exactly outlined their full co-op agenda.
“We haven’t revealed the co-op mode yet,” said community manager Josh Olin.
"I confirmed that part of the Prestige and Hardened Edition copies of the game is the four World at War Zombies levels playable in Black Ops co-operatively, but that’s all we announced.”
“As for what our actual co-op mode is that ships with the game, we’re not ready to reveal that just yet,” said Olin at gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Were you hoping for some Modern Warfare 2 like spec-ops missions for Black Ops?
