Owners of PlayStation 3’s Call of Duty: Black Ops are less than impressed with Treyarch’s released 1.04 title update saying it’s ‘made things a lot worse’.
The update was said to improve matchmaking for people with strict NAT types, but this appears to have backfired. Treyarch insist it’s ”not the game.”
NAT is related to routers and Treyarch claim to have done all they can on their end that lag still being experienced is out of their hands and down to users to sort it out. ”That means your Router has a strict NAT, causing your lag,” said Treyarch’s Josh Olin.
”It’s not the game,” affirmed the community manager. ”We are listening to you,” he added, ”and we’ve been busy working on updates based on feedback from the community.” Has the 1.04 title update for Black Ops made your multiplayer worse?
If it has then sound off with fellow sufferers on the official game forum.
