Those wanting to participate in the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta this summer will only need their Splinter Cell: Conviction discs in order to participate.
”Once the beta is available, you’ll be able to download it through the news feed on the main menu of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, free of charge and with no codes required,” reads the leaflet included with the game.
Very clever… at least that will forestall anyone wanting to trade the game in between now and then. Whilst details are scarce, one could also infer from this that you could borrow someone’s copy as well to access the beta, although we wonder if the disc needs to be in the machine in order to play.
No news on exactly when the beta is going to be live, but we’ll keep you updated.
