Today’s rumour concerns Mass Effect 2, and according to hidden files taken from the PC version, there’s a suggestion that the one and only Liara T’soni may return to fight another day.
Extracted sound files allegedly allude to a quest where Shepard’s former companion (and possible lover) confronts the Shadow Broker, although it is unclear whether it would be handled as DLC or some kind of bigger ‘expansion’ back like Awakening.
As always, take this with a fair helping of salt, as nothing is confirmed at this point.
