Yeah, Sony wants your cash in exchange for goods and service - what of it? SCEA reveal the ‘Recommendations’ feature is due this July end.
”When you’re browsing through the details of a particular title, you’ll see a new “You May Like” section on the right-hand side,” explained Sony’s Eric Lempel.
”This section lists additional items based on the purchases of other PlayStation Network members who have purchased the item you’re currently looking at.” This feature is due to release by the end of this month, unlike the firmware update which is earlier.
”This feature is a great way to discover new games that you may not know about, and it’s another step toward making the shopping experience easier and better for you all — similar to the five-star ratings feature we added in the last firmware update.”
The PSP is also getting a firmware update improving ”system software stability during use of some PSP format software titles” note Sony. So this PS3 firmware may add the function of this ‘recommendation’ system but it won’t activate until we’re close to August.
There’s still no mention of cross-game chat.
