Corrupt saves plague F1 2010 on all platforms, studio working on it

Players of the newly released F1 2010 are reporting career heartbreak as the game is corrupting their save files, and it’s not platform specific.

Codemasters are offering a workaround until they patch this issue. The corruption triggers when returning to the paddock after certain conditions.

The ”potential workaround” is to load in qualifying sessions before attempting to exit the game. The developer offers what they believe are the lone triggers to this corruption.

• Retire to the paddock via the Engineer (in the garage).

• Terminally damage your car and select retire to paddock.

• Get disqualified and select retire to paddock.
