Publisher EA has declared itself the number one outfit on high definition consoles in the western market for 2010 after revealing their Q3 fiscal numbers.
Five EA properties that released instalments last year sold over 5m copies each. For the quarter ending December 31st it was tops for iPhone and iPad too.
Who were the 2010 golden wonders for EA? FIFA 11, Medal of Honor, Madden NFL 11, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. They also proved to be the lead publisher for the Apple App Store and on Windows Phone 7 for Q3.
Despite that mega success the publisher still posted a loss of $322m for the quarter, growing from the same period last year which stood at a loss of $82m. Total sales for Q3 tallied £1.053bn which is down from last year’s $1.243bn.
Keep those hits coming boys and girls - you need ‘em as much as we want them!
