Pendulo Studios has formally announced its next adventure game for publisher Focus Home Interactive, and it's a wildly different game than their last title, The Next BIG Thing.
Yesterday, which was originally titled Y: The John Yesterday Files in earlier reports, is a serial killer mystery in which the New York City homeless are being found burnt alive after having a "Y" carved into their hands.
The player gets to control three protagonists. Henry White, a young and rich heir dedicated to a charitable organization and his friend Cooper are the first to investigate these disappearances. The third playable character is "the enigmatic John Yesterday, who is dragged into this incredible story after his memory is completely wiped."
The game is due to be released on PC sometime in the Q2 2012.
