Longtime PlayStation developer Insomniac Games will be reportedly introducing a multiplatform title at Electronic Arts’ press conference later today. The developer is best known for the Ratchet & Clank and Spyro the Dragon series, all of which were developed for the three PlayStation consoles.
According to Insomniac CEO Ted Price, the developer wanted to go multiplatform to reach as large an audience as it possibly could, though some hardcore PlayStation fans would point to its relationship with EA Partners as the reason. Price also stated that the developer would be spending more time iterating and polishing its games, instead of a yearly release.
Insomnia has also announced Insomniac Click, which would be focused on Facebook and mobile gaming.
