Once again, you are defending the galaxy against the Zylon invasion fleet, and like the original game, you pick the sector to fly off to and defend. You are given squad mates whom you can instruct during combat to fly in various attack formations and styles.
The game will also feature online multiplayer with co-op and competitive team-based campaigns.
Star Raiders is also being released on PC and PlayStation 3, but no release date has been set for those versions yet.
