The dev became ”aware of the rumor” that Devil May Cry and Bayonetta’s Hideki Kamiya was collaborating with Kojima Productions on the new Metal Gear.
Sorry but that just isn’t so. ”I am aware of the rumor that says Kamiya is working on Rising,” Inaba-san said through a translator. ”It’s not true.” He confirmed further that Platinum Games itself has no ties to the Metal Gear Solid: Rising project.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The Hideo Kojima title was teased with a trailer and some in-game footage at E3 2010 but has missed this year.
