The UK’s BBFC have given Guerrilla Games’ Killzone 3 a clear 18 certificate for its ”strong bloody violence and strong language” with no cuts made.
The third instalment carries 70 minutes worth of cutscenes reveal the ratings board. The ESRB gave it a Mature rating, but PEGI is yet to stamp it.
PEGI of course is the European industry body while the ESRB is for the US. Even the OFLC in Australia has beaten mainland Europe giving Killzone 3 an MA15+ sticker. ”Contains strong bloody violence and strong language,” is the BBFC’s consumer advice.
Killzone 3 releases exclusively for PS3 February 22nd in the US, no EU date yet.
