Hasbro today announced that it has signed an agreement with Jagex Limited to jointly create a new online game based on the Transformers brand. Transformers Online is expected to launch in 2012 in North America, Latin America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia
Jagex are largely known for the company’s flagship game, RuneScape, but there are millions of people playing more than 40 online games from the firm.

Transformers Online will be released exclusively for the PC.
