Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is setting sales records, so it’s not surprising it’s setting a new record on Xbox Live as well. According to Activision and Microsoft, the game has set the record for having most concurrent players on Xbox Live.
This is unsurprising in another way: both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops previously managed the same, with 2+ million and 2.6+ million players, respectively.
The exact number of concurrent users for Modern Warfare 3 hasn’t been revealed yet, but it obviously should be more than 2.6M players.
