The upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, will have more action than the original 2010 game, and will include a new co-op multiplayer mode.
The mode is called “Fight ‘til Dawn”, and will basically be a Horde mode in which players cooperatively combat waves of dark creatures. According to Remedy vice president Aki Järvilehto, ”One of the things about Alan Wake is that people loved the story, the setting and the theme but people wanted more in-your-face action. People wanted more variation, different types of enemies and different types of weapon.”
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare was finally officially revealed at the Spike TV Videogame Awards last Saturday.
