Surely it would be unethical to point out that once you get a month for a buck you can come back here, click the link again, and add another month. Rumor has it that you can do this as many as five times in a row.
However, it does turn on the automatic subscrption renewal, so if you don't want any surprises in a month (or, um, "whenever") make sure you get that bit turned off. Also, it doesn't apply to current Gold subscribers.
The timing is also interesting, coming so close after PSN was restored, wasn't it?
