Doritos found in a scientific survey of 2,052 people that 49% of women play video games online, compared to 50% of men, but those women also spend more time than men online; 23.1% of their games are spent online as opposed to the male 22.3%. In the more interesting part of the survey, 84% of female gamers "enjoyed" gaming, as opposed to the 75% enjoying taking a bath, the 71% enjoying sex, and the 62% of them enjoying exercising. 17% of female gamers played online games... in bed. Now, this isn't to say women prefer games to sex, but that female gamers say they enjoy it more, and "enjoy" is pretty subjective. Regardless, it's further proof that the videogame demographic is more than teen boys, which developers and publishers seem to forget. Now, how many female gamers enjoy Doritos? |
