Epic Games has revealed at San Diego Comic Con that Gears of War 3 will have a Casual mode for players who are either new to videogames or just plain suck at shooters.
Noob.The weird thing is that the mode will only appear for people who have never gotten any Achievements in Gears 1 or Gears 2. It won’t even appear if the player participated in the recent Gears 3 beta testing. The Casual mode will feature an Aim Assist, and possibly other assists.
Epic states that the Casual mode is for newcomers to be comfortable with the game if they’re coming into Gears cold with Gears of War 3.
