The ‘VIP Pass’ has to be redeemed through the PlayStation Store so that DiRT 3 gamers can enjoy multiplayer through PlayStation Network. End of May?
Sony aims to have the PlayStation Store up and running ”by the end of May” at the latest. This won’t please gamers dependant on the likes of ‘online pass’ systems such as this one for DiRT 3. ”It is a really unfortunate situation,” said Codemasters.
”But we are positive that everything is being done to rectify the service as soon as possible,” added communications manager Andy Gray. DiRT 3 has released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The VIP Pass is free to mint owners of the game while second-hand buyers must pay 800 Microsoft Points or £6.29 on PlayStation Network for online play.
