The BioWare forums have erupted with much sorrow as users are reporting their long hour adventures in the galaxy are being completely wiped clean.
The BioWare sequel to their critically acclaimed Mass Effect RPG has only just arrived for the PS3 but already it’s found to be hit with a truly crippling bug. Making multiple saves won’t cut it either because as soon as one is corrupted they all go say users.
BioWare producer Jesse Houston and his team are reviewing this ticking time bomb right now and he asks all those affected to detail exactly when it happens.
Specifically if you can say:
1> where the crash occurred that caused the save to become corrupt (ie loading from Horrizon to the Normandy or Right after the fight with the Yahg)
2> How many levels in a row you played beforehand (Ie you played through the prologue through to Horizon in a single sitting)
3> How long you were playing concurrently beforehand (ie you had the game running for 40 hours straight without rebooting the console)
It’s truly a disaster for an RPG to suffer save game corruption, especially one has involving as Mass Effect 2. Have you suffered this pre-emptive strike of the Reapers?
