It was spotted once the v1.06 title update went live for Black Ops over PSN. While seemingly harmless so far it’s still left some egg on Treyarch’s face.
While at another time this could be just laughed off as an amusing mistake it’s not likely to be getting much mirth from the PS3 Black Ops community as they continue to hound Treyarch to fix the numerous issues with the PS3 version of the game.
Sadly v1.06 doesn’t appear to be the answer. Lobby group Gamer’s Voice has now petitioned the UK’s Office of Fair Trading to look into the matter as they accuse Activision of allowing an unfinished/broken product to have been released, duping consumers.
