It’s Sony’s biggest share dip since mid-March. The idea of payouts by the giant to customers over the hacks isn’t doing wonders for stock broker types either.
It was to be expected really - a massive corporate giant brought to its knees before the world with government agencies and representatives joining in the chorus of reprimands to Sony for not doing enough to protect and warn users.
Sony hope to have PlayStation Network up and running again ‘within the week’ and reveal that PS3 firmware will be used to help plug the exploits of the network.
