This adds fuel to speculation that Sony will be unveiling a new PS3 Slim price point at Gamescom, which runs from August 17th to the 21st.
The 120GB and 250GB models of the PlayStation 3 have been out of stock for sometime but it seems the 160GB model is just hanging in there as UK retailers round it down to £200. Industry whispers say Sony will alter the price this summer.
Currently the PlayStation 3 Slim 320GB SKU floats around £269.99.
