NFS: The Run demo coming October 18

Electronic Arts will release a demo for the latest incarnation of their arcade racer, Need for Speed: The Run. The demo will feature the game’s unique staple: a race followed by the on foot interstitial cinematics complete with quicktime events.

The demo will be released on October 18th and will allow players to drive the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni - and the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S can be unlocked if you refer a friend to the demo.

The game itself will be released on November 15th on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
