Japanese magazine Famitsu is reporting that a small, 35-man team is working on a ”massive, original action role-playing game”, and that the team is exploring next generation platforms.
The team is being headed by Dragon Quest 9 Producer Ryutaro Ichimura, although the company has stressed that this is not another DQ or Final Fantasy title. It is believed the new project will target international markets.
A formal announcement is expected sometime this week.
