Rumour: Sony will add sub-tiers to PlayStation Plus

According to IGN, Sony are planning to introduce a number of sub-tiers to PlayStation Plus.

A survey has suggested the company could implement up to three tiers to the service, which was introduced in 2010. The survey, which was sent in by an IGN reader, aimed to reveal the perfect package for potential subscribers.

Some rumours suggest Sony could include Call of Duty: Elite as a free incentive for PlayStation Plus users in the future.

Sony commented:

”We have nothing specific to announce at this time, but PlayStation Plus continues to delight gamers with free games, huge discounts and exclusive gaming features that can’t be found on other platforms.”
