The man in charge says there’s no doubt it has been ”an ambitious project” to undertake, but its reception among gamers has ”exceeded expectations” and they pledge to add ”substantial content”.
In War of the Roses players take control of a knight in armour, and battle alongside squads as the war for the coveted crown of England rages on.
”There is no doubt that War of the Roses has been an ambitious project for us,” noted Gordon Van Dyke. It launched September 28th. “The game’s reception from players has exceeded expectations and we are truly grateful for the continued support from the community. We’ll continue to improve the game and add substantial content for all players.”
To celebrate the announcement Paradox are holding a contest as they seek the ”most action-packed screenshot of a battlefield”, and they’ll name two winners. Those selected receive a private 32-player server for 3 months, and 5 copies of the game. For more information on the competition check out the official War of the Roses Facebook page.
