It seems the fate focused Kingdoms of Amalur needs at least 512MB of dedicated video memory to be enjoyed, with 1GB the recommended dose. It’s due out early this year from EA.
It’s an RPG from ”New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston”.
Kingdoms of Amalur chooses to marry the traditional RPG aspects of stuffing points in talents so we can ‘build’ our hero, and action gameplay akin to Fable or Darksiders. Frankly it’s something best viewed to see how well they mesh, as only hearing about it doesn’t do this ambitious new franchise justice.
