Croteam has announced that the PC version of Serious Sam 3: BFE will be getting some brand-new downloadable content in October called "Jewel of the Nile" - and it has nothing to do with Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner or Danny DeVito.
The DLC will feature three new campaign missions set within the story of Serious Sam 3: BFE which will have the player "follow Sam 'Serious' Stone as he tracks down a powerful artifact on an ancient island to swing the tide of battle against Mental's invading alien horde."
The DLC is set on the Temple of Isis on the island of Philae. Inside the mysterious temples is a monstrous guardian, along with hordes of Mental's forces. The publisher also promises that Sam will be re-introduced to two old enemy faces as well. The DLC will also add two new secret weapons: the laser gun and sniper rifle.
Serious Sam 3: PFE was originally released on the 22nd November 2011 and earned an 8.0/10 score from Strategy Informer.
