Electronic Arts has announced a partnership with Sony Pictures to bring a new Medal of Honor:Warfighter map pack tie-in with Kathryn Bigelow's film Zero Dark Thirty, which chronicled the hunt for Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The DLC will be released on the 17th December for $9.99 USD to coincide with the film's release.
The Zero Dark Thirty DLC puts the player in two multiplayer maps based in real-world locations in Pakistan. The first is the Darra Gun Market, where police are forbidden to enter, and Chitral, which is in the far north of the country with Afganistan in the West and China to the north, where tribes won't let even the Pakistani army to operate.
EA will be donating $1M from DLC purchases to the Project HONOR charity fund which funnels money to nonprofit veteran's organizations.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is due to be released on the 23rd October for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
