Back in April, the HD remastered remake of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards made its Kickstarter goal. The game has achieved another coup as it will be employing recent Grammy nominee Austin Wintory for the music score.
Wintory is the second artist to be nominated for a Grammy for writing a videogame music score. Christopher Tin was nominated and won for Civilization IV’s Baba Yet.
According to Wintory in a recent interview, the composer has experience in penning “sexy music” and “seedy, back alley kind of stuff”, which is perfect for the adventures of Larry Laffer.
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is due to be released on PC in Q1 2013. A console version may follow.
