Focus Home Interactive has announced that the first downloadable content pack is now available for their Cold War-era real-time strategy game Wargame: European Escalation, and that the DLC is available for free from Steam.
The DLC features 7 new multiplayer maps that Focus Home insists "will challenge the veteran commanders!". Two of the maps are asymmetrical which enforces Attack/Defense games with natural layouts for each side. Also included in the pack is a new skirmish AI, which will allow up to 7 players to face off against the computer.
The other feature included with the DLC is the Flare, which allows players to communicate with each other with preset or customised messages.
Focus Home Interactive also announced that Wargame: European Escalation is enjoying a Steam sale, 40% off the regular price.
Wargame: European Escalation was released this past February, and earned an 8.5/10 score from Strategy Informer's review.
