It unveiled during E3 2009 and has only made two appearances at trade shows since at the Tokyo Game Show in ‘09 and 2010. Sony Santa Monica is helping finish development.
Team ICO has seen several departures of senior executives including Fumito Ueda. The corporate giant is still not confident enough to confirm a showing for early June.
“The Last Guardian continues to be developed, however we have no news to share at this time with regard to the franchise and E3,” said Sony. The Last Guardian is being wrapped up by Sony Santa Monica and others beside Team ICO. Sony’s E3 2012 press event takes place June 4th 6pm PT/9pm ET.
