War of the Roses to get monthly updates

War of the Roses producer Gordon Van Dyke has revealed that grand strategy game War of the Roses will be receiving monthly updates after it is released on the 2nd October.

According to Van Dyke, this will include new armor, weapons, and maps, depending on player feed back.

“We want to support the hell out of this game after release and for a long time afterward. One way we plan on doing this is by releasing regular content updates, our ambition right now is to do them monthly,” he informed.

Van Dyke added that developer Fatshawk might add an objective siege mode that has team vs. team multiplayer where one team tries to storm the other’s castle.

War of the Roses is currently in beta.
