NCSoft has announced that Aion: Ascension, after transitioning to a free-to-play model on the 28th February, will be getting a major 3.0 update, which will raise the level cap to 60, along with new zones, mounts, houses, and instances to the game.
Unlike some free-to-play MMOs, Aion: Ascension will give gamers access to the entire game, including the two previous expansions. It encompasses over 3,000 quests, more than 30 instances, and auction houses.
Aion was originally released in September 2009, and received a 7.5/10 score from Strategy Informer in its review.
