Zen Studios has announced that Pinball FX 2 has been released as part of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, and is now available as a free download for all users. The free table included in the game is the popular Sorcerer’s Lair, which debuted last September on Xbox Live Arcade.
The developer will be bringing its pinball downloadable content to the Windows 8 platform, which seems to indicate that the base game will be free, but Zen will make its money on selling additional tables.
Pinball FX 2 was the best selling Xbox Live Arcade game in 2011, and this Win8 version will be the game’s debut on the PC platform.
