Players selected to engage in the beta include gamers from Europe, North America and Russia, fighting with four warplane classes, including fighters, ground-attack planes, heavy fighters and carrier-based aircraft. The classes include 59 different warplanes from Germany, the United States and the U.S.S.R.
Combat will range across four unique maps, where not only will pilots engage in dogfights, but deal with anti-aircraft guns and other ground targets.
Wargaming.net will be recruiting players during the closed beta as well, while an in-game tutorial will help new players polish their skills.
Players interested in joining the World of Warplanes beta can apply at the official site here.
