Final Fantasy 3 would serve as a launch title for the OUYA which is due to debut in March 2013. Square also promised to back more content for the new home console platform in the future.
A HD re-release of Final Fantasy 3 already exists so it won’t be too much of a stretch for Square to lend their support to OUYA, but they’ll ensure it’s fully optimized for 2013.
Over 45,353 backers are attached to the OUYA Kickstarter.
