Warner Bros. Interactive teased a new Batman: Arkham Origins character a few days ago, showing only a bomber jacket. The characters turns out to be a very young Barbara Gordon.
In the Facebook entry, the publisher notes, "In Batman: Arkham Origins, players are introduced to a teenage girl by the name of Barbara - someone who fans will later come to know as Oracle. As the daughter of police captain James Gordon, Barb meets Gotham’s mysterious masked vigilante for the first time."
Of course, Barbara became Oracle after a career as Batgirl because Joker paralyzed her in an attempt to drive her father James crazy. That probably won't occur in Origins, however.
Batman: Arkham Origins is due to be released on the 25th October for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
