According to inside sources, the next generation of Microsoft console will have an improved version of its voice recognition built into the console itself. The “Durango” will support wake on voice (“Xbox on” to have it turn on), natural language controls, and speech-to-text.
The voice recognition will be very similar to Apple’s own Siri service, which will support natural language such as “Xbox, what are my friends playing?” or “Xbox, find me 30 Rock on Netflix.”
Exact details remain speculation til Microsoft unveils the new console at E3 this year.
