A new report has stated that LittleBigPlanet 3 is in development, but Media Molecule is not working on it. Instead, Sumo Digital, which developed the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing titles, are developing it.
The report states that Media Molecule, which is busy developing Tearaway for the PlayStation Vita, offered the IP to Sumo to work on. This wouldn’t be the first time some other studio worked on a LittleBigPlanet title, as United Front Games developed LittleBigPlanet Karting.
There’s no word if LittleBigPlanet 3 will be developed for the current-gen or next-gen Sony console.
Stay tuned.
