Zattikka and Games Workshop team up for free-to-play Warhammer 40k deal

Zattikka and Games Workshop are teaming up to produce free-to-play games based on the Warhammer 40,000 Titans universe.

Players can expect the titles to include ”single, multi-player and social gaming modes, delivering both single and chain mission tactical experiences across a broad platform range, including PC/Mac and tablets.”

The first game is expected in 2014 and will feature plenty of post-release DLC.

”We are delighted to be working with Games Workshop on such a prestigious and important gaming franchise,” Zattikka CEO Mark Opzoomer said.

Perhaps this announcement has come at the perfect time for Warhammer fans, as EA’s free-to-play Wrath of Heroes title is due to shut down soon.
