According to Ubisoft, the present day protagonist is an employee of Abstergo Entertainment, a Templar front. The modern day section of the game plays out as a first person adventure game, where players can sit at their desk at the job and investigate the past of legendary assassins, including Edward Kenway.
Writer Darby McDevitt stated, ”We want you to feel like you have your own Animus.”
The player can rummage through reams of e-mails and videos that will lead to chunks of content that when completely collected will combine into a 40-minute radio play.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will be out on the 29th October 2013 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U.
