A new trailer teasing the merry life of high seas privateer Edward Kenway has been raided from Ubisoft’s bloated merchant vessel. It gives us more glimpses into the 18th century way of life if swashbuckling is your thing.
There’s deck swabbing, crow’s nest camping, rum backwashing, whaling, ship sinking, and all-round civil disobedience. A week back Ubisoft showcased more naval combat gameplay.
The studio is betting big that everyone will be falling for the pirate life, and PC gamers will likely be seduced because it’s not like Sid Meier is flying the Black Flag anymore.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 October 29th in the US, November 1st in EU. It arrives on PC later, ironically to try and discourage Internet scallywags.
