eSports continue to rise, as Major League Gaming has announced it has launched a new site, MLG.tv, which will stream live game content, as well as host original programming.
MLG.tv will be using its own proprietary video player, and has opened up the platform to the European league Gifinity, and OpTic Gaming, which has millions of stream viewers and millions of followers via social media. The site also features The eSports Report, sort of a 24 hour sportscast akin to ESPN News.
The first exclusive live stream will be the first ever Call of Duty: Ghosts tourney and the DOTA2 event, both which will be run from the 22nd through to the 24th of November.
