Nine new civilizations in total are added with Brave New World, as well as several new wonders and updated game mechanics. Gods and Kings was the last expansion.
Gaja Mada was prime minister of the Majapahit Empire, and Ahmad al-Mansur the sultan of the Saadi dynasty in the 16th century. This new add-on includes the World Congress.
There are also trade routes, ideologies and improved cultural victories which include tourism, archaeology and a Great Work mechanic. These expand on all the additions made in the Gods & Kings add-on but don’t add their civilizations to the roster. Other civs include Poland, Brazil, Assyria, Shaka, Zulu and Portugal.
Civilization V: Brave New World releases on PC July 12th.
